In order to\u00a0<strong>visualize the physical abrasion of network cables<\/strong>, a quality value &#8220;Q-actual value&#8221; is permanently determined for each cable. This status value is compared to a &#8220;Q-setpoint\u00a0value&#8221; that corresponds to the cable length. As\u00a0a result, the\u00a0<strong>line status per port<\/strong>\u00a0can be determined.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"small-margin-bottom\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana; font-weight: normal; color: #2e3800;\">The status of each data cable can be easily checked via the\u00a0<strong>integrated web interface<\/strong>\u00a0of the PROmesh P10. Thanks to the traffic light colour principle, it is possible to immediately detect when the value falls below the\u00a0<strong>preset threshold value<\/strong>. Damaged cables can be replaced according to their condition during the next maintenance interval.
