No active Internet connection is required.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/em><\/span><\/p>\nTopology function with status information<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\nFor the evaluation of a PROFIBUS network, knowledge of the wiring of the individual devices among themselves is a central prerequisite. This topology can be stored on the PROFIBUS-INspektor\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0NT<\/strong>\u00a0with all important infrastructure components, such as repeaters and measuring points, including the device information, and can be retrieved as required. In addition, current and past states of individual nodes are displayed in color. This makes it much easier to limit existing errors to certain segments or conspicuous nodes.<\/span><\/section>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n\u00a0<\/span><\/section>\n\n<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\nError statistics with detailed timeline<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\nYou can clearly see which device is most frequently affected by the events that have occurred (e.g. telegram repetitions). This provides you important information for troubleshooting.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/span><\/p>\nAutomatic alerts for PROFIBUS errors<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\nAs soon as a threshold is exceeded, the PROFIBUS-INspektor<\/span>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0<\/span>NT creates an alarm to<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>warn the operator in time so that they can<\/span>\u00a0perform targeted, planned maintenance. Warnings can be given in several ways. An LED on the PROFIBUS-INspektor<\/span>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0<\/span>NT shows directly which errors occurred in the network. In addition to this warning, a potential-free contact can be switched, e.g. to send a message directly to the control system.
